The judge has for now denied bail
to Strauss-Kahn. - In her 2007 TV appearance with Thierry Ardisson, Tristane
Banon said that she went to see a specialized lawyer, who already had a
large pile of dossiers with other claims regarding Strauss-Kahn (whose name
was not mentioned on TV). - The DNA tests on the maid corroborate her
account according to the prosecution, wrote the Telegraph reporter Jon Swaine, tweeting from the
courtroom.

I have just watched the mother of Tristane Banon say on TV what had happened
to her daughter years ago (the other rape attempt by Strauss-Kahn).

As reported
earlier in our French
edition, the IMF director Dominique Strauss-Kahn, currently involved in an
alleged rape case in New York City's Sofitel hotel, is involved in another
attempted rape affair.
The French magazine Elle reported today online a 2007-case. The young
French writer Tristane Banon said on a French TV show hosted by Thierry
Ardisson, that a politician had tried to rape her. According to the wish of
the production company, the name of
Dominique Strauss-Kahn was not mentioned in the show.
According to the Elle article, in 2007, Tristane Banon was reporting
an attempted rape case that had happened four years earlier. She was a close
friend of Dominique Strauss-Kahn's daughter.
In the interview with Thierry Ardisson, Tristane Banon said that the
attempted rape case ended violently. She went to see him for an interview.
It ended violently. She kicked him with her feet. He had unhooked her bra
and tried to open her jeans.
Tristane Banon did not report the attempted rape case to the police. Her
mother had advised her not to do so. She wanted to protect her daughter's
future as well as the life of Camille, the daughter of Strauss-Kahn. Today,
the mother of Tristane Banon, Anne Mansouret, regrets that she had hindered
her daughter to report the case to the police.
This other attempted rape affair will destroy the reputation of Dominique
Strauss-Kahn. He could maybe survive one alleged rape case, if he is not
proven guilty, but two affairs are one too many.
The Managing Director of the IMF, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, although still an
undeclared candidate , was the hot favorite to win the 2011 French
presidential election.
