Origins A
Perfect World
Yin Zhen White Tea skin care products
Article added on January 5, 2006
When I stayed in
Paris in 2005, by chance, I discovered an excellent range of skin care: A Perfect World ™
White Tea skin care
by Origins.
The cosmetics industry is always in
search of new ingredients. Origins - an Estée Lauder brand introduced in 1990 -
proposes a line of skin care, makeup, bath and body and Sensory Therapy
products that use age-old remedies from nature that have been perfected by
science for the contemporary world. In 2002, Origins introduced A Perfect World
™, the first skin care product line based on Yin Zhen
White Tea, also known as Silver Tips.
My favorite products of the skin care line A Perfect World ™ are the Creamy
Body Cleanser with White Tea and the Highly Hydrating Body Lotion with
White Tea. Origins boldly states "no more dry elbows" - and the products keep their promise!
I have been looking for something for my left elbow, which I use to support my
head and the solution is Origins' Highly Hydrating body Lotion with
White Tea.
Body skin treatment is neglected in most beauty regimes, maybe because it is
largely hidden under clothing. Body skin is different from facial skin, which
has a higher concentration of sensory nerves close to its surface. Body skin is
less sensitive and thicker. It tends to be more resilient. Cell renewal for body
skin is slower than for facial skin. Protective oils are scant on body skin.
Therefore, it is highly susceptible to dehydration, especially on arms, legs and
elbows.
A Perfect World ™ Creamy
Body Cleanser with White Tea is a lushly lathering cream, which cleans your
body skin while protecting its scarce surface oils with the help of Shea butter,
Sweet Orange and Glycerin. avoiding dryness, dullness and discomfort.
The Highly Hydrating Body Lotion with
White Tea is for normal-to-dry body skin. Its Shea butter removes itchy,
flaky dryness. Glucosamine releases ugly duckling layers to reveal your more
radiant skin. Mimosa Tenuiflora sleekens slacking skin-texture and makes it look
more taut and toned. Silver Tip White Tea preserves the body skin's vibrant,
healthful lift and life, banishing youth offenders before they can cause
oxidation, deterioration and dehydration. If you have dry-to-very-dry body skin,
use the body cream instead of the lotion.
My only wish is that, in addition to the neutral scented Creamy Body Cleanser,
Origins will introduce a non-perfumed body lotion since not everybody likes the
sensuous apricot and sweet orange smell of the lotion and cream all the time.
Origins' best selling product is
A Perfect World ™ White Tea Skin Guardian. I have used it in 2005 under
the Erno
Laszlo pHeltyl Lotion and could see me skin complexion
improve. I have discontinued it because it meant an additional product. The
White Tea Skin Guardian provides two essential benefits: 1) It creates an
impenetrable shield, safeguarding facial skin from stress, pollution and other
environmental aggressors before they can age or damage skin. 2) By repelling
negative forces, it leaves the facial skin free to renew, repair and protect
itself in the way nature intended.
A Perfect World's ™ Yin Zhen
White Tea with its antioxidant power improves
the production of Collagen and Elastin, the maintenance of skin's natural lipid
levels and prevents ageing. Origins was the first company to launch skin care
products based on Yin Zhen. The antioxidant benefits of White Tea are 100% more
effective than the ones of Green Tea. It contains three times more polyphenols
than Green Tea. Oxidation, deterioration, dehydration and other forms of skin
irritation can be prevented with the help of the White Tea Skin Guardian.
In addition, Boswellia and Walnut Extracts set up a secure sanctuary against
age-accelerating static and stress by protecting cells so that they can focus on
producing Collagen and Elastin, which keep skin looking and feeling young and
healthy. The oil free products immediately improve skin's softness and
smoothness. Apply the White Tea Skin Guardian after cleaning your face
and under your moisturizer.
In April 2005, Origins launched
A Perfect World ™ Antioxidant Moisturizer with White Tea. Staying in
London in the summer of 2006, I decided to test this Estée Lauder product. For
best results, use it after the White Tea Skin Guardian. However, I
decided to use without the Skin Guardina, only in combination with the
Origins' Checks and Balances ™ Frothy Face Wash - there is no Origins
face wash with White Tea and the moisturizer is incompatible with the Erno
Laszlo Sea mud soap.
The Frothy Face Wash is a creamy cleanser for combination skin with skin
balancing ingredients. It cleans and balances moisture and oil levels of facial
skin, which feels refreshed and comfortable after cleansing, never tight, pulled
or parched (yes, the product information is correct on this). Konjac Powder
helps to absorb excess oil while Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein balances and protects
dry prone zones. Tourmaline reduces surface tension of water to create a more
skin friendly environment, allowing the product to work at its best. Aromatic
Geranium, Spearmint, Lavender and Bergamot essential oils combat irritation
while soothing and relaxing the skin. The Geranium essential oil increases the
production of epidermal lipids. The Bergamot essential oil calms and soothes the
skin and spirit. The Spearmint essential oil stimulates the skin and fights off
irritation. The Lavender essential oil has restorative and relaxing properties.
After cleansing, I applied the Antioxidant Moisturizer with White Tea.
The only downside was that I had to avoid the upper cheek and eye area as well
as my nose. The powerful antioxidant, anti-aging, anti-pollution, anti-smog,
anti-smoke and anti-stress powers of Silver Tip White Tea are energized and
optimized with this excellent moisturizer, which protects facial skin from free
radicals. Ferment of Sugarcane acts like a mini-spark plug to increase facial
skin's ability to neutralize free radicals before they deface skin. Cells have
increased stamina to accelerate the self-repair that improves skin quality,
moisture retention and suppleness. Murmura Butter maximizes skin's moisture
barrier. Rosehip Oil hydrates. Centella Asiatica firms. Vitamin C brightens and
evens out skin tone. Aromatic Mimosa, Orange, Bergamot and Spearmint fortify the
feel-good-factor. The Antioxidant Moisturizer with White Tea boosts
skins' elasticity helping to protect skin's structure. The result is a
healthier, natural look of your facial skin.
People who like to sunbath should consider that skin suffers from repeated sun
exposure. The solar UV rays cause damage not only to skin cells, but also to the
internal protective mechanisms that work inside skin. It takes some four to six
weeks for the internal antioxidant systems to fully recover after a period of
intensive sun exposure. White Tea extracts can offer compensation for this loss
and replenish skin with protection against various sources of oxidation, not
only after sun exposure. When you suddenly stop sun exposure, the damaged skin
is thicker and more pigmented, irregular patches of dry and flay skin will
appear. The Antioxidant Moisturizer with White Tea will stimulate the
natural exfoliation process as well as the formation of a good moisture barrier.
The result is a more even complexion.
After six months of testing, I can highly recommend the Origin's products A
Perfect World ™ with White Tea.
